General Civil & Trial Practice

The Firm has an active civil trial practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts in Iowa, involving such matters as business contract and tort issues, utility law, employment law, the bottle deposit law, personal injury cases and real estate issues.  Appeals have been handled at all levels of state and federal court (including the U.S. Supreme Court), as well as agency appeals.  The Firm has also been actively involved in arbitration proceedings (ADR - Alternative Dispute Resolution) across the United States on behalf of both individuals and corporations.  Corporate clients served by the Firm include rural electric cooperatives, insurance companies, small businesses, professionals, commercial banks and other industrial companies.
